Overview

This lot is a mixed 11-piece set of Beckhoff KL-series Bus Terminals, the DIN-rail mounted I/O modules that form the backbone of Beckhoff's decentralized control architecture. Each terminal snaps onto a standard terminal block and communicates with a Bus Coupler over the internal K-bus, allowing engineers to combine encoder interfaces, power feeds, digital outputs, and analog outputs within a single I/O station. This set covers five terminal types spanning absolute position feedback, isolated power distribution, digital switching, and analog signal generation, along with the mandatory end terminal that every K-bus station requires to function.

Key Features

  • KL5001 — SSI Encoder Interface (1-channel), Qty 2: Functions as an SSI master, enabling direct connection of absolute singleturn or multiturn encoders to the control system. Supports adjustable transmission rates up to 1 MHz and a configurable 24-bit data width, with the 24 V encoder supply provided directly through the terminal's power contacts.
  • KL9100 — Potential Supply Terminal, 24 V DC, Qty 2: Re-feeds fresh 24 V DC power into the terminal block at the point where it's inserted, establishing a new isolated potential group. This lets downstream terminals draw from a renewed supply rather than depending on the incoming line all the way down the station.
  • KL2134 — 4-Channel Digital Output, 24 V DC / 0.5 A, Qty 5: Each module provides four electrically isolated output channels with reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, individually indicated by onboard LEDs. With five units in this lot, that's 20 total digital output channels available across the set.
  • KL4004 — 4-Channel Analog Output, 0…10 V, 12-bit, Qty 1: Generates four independent 0–10 V analog voltage signals with 12-bit resolution and electrical isolation from the K-bus, suited to precise process-level control such as valve positioning or drive speed reference signals.
  • KL9010 — Bus End Terminal, Qty 1: The required terminating module placed at the end of every K-bus assembly. Without it, the Bus Coupler cannot exchange data with any of the terminals in the station — this piece is essential, not optional, for the set to be usable.
