Overview

This is an Ouman EH-800E, version 2.0.5, an intelligent controller for water-based central heating systems suitable for any home with central water heating regardless of heat source — oil, solar, wood, pellets, district heat, electricity, or thermal heat. It automatically accounts for differences in heating methods and building structures, releasing water at precisely the right temperature to maintain even, comfortable room temperatures while conserving energy.

  • Large, clear display: Shows all relevant information at a glance, including recent measurement history as a graphic presentation for reviewing heating reduction periods or overnight outdoor temperatures.
  • Network and remote connectivity: Connects to a building's internal network or the internet via third-party solutions, with remote operation possible through a standard web browser; GSM communication supported with a connected modem.
  • Hybrid heating control (with EXU-800): Optional external unit expands the controller to manage two heating sources simultaneously — for example, coordinating an older heat source with a newer, more efficient one.
  • Simple manual fine-tuning: "Too warm/cold" control knob lets users make quick heating adjustments, factoring in room sensor input where connected.
  • Compatible with common valve types: Works with the most common boiler and buffer tank valves used in residential heating installations.
