Expansion I/O module for TAC Xenta building automation controllers

Overview

This is a Schneider Electric (TAC) Xenta 411, a 10-channel digital input expansion module for the TAC Xenta family of building automation controllers, connected via the common TP/FT-10 network. Each digital input can be used to sense alarm contacts, status indications, or as a pulse counter — for example, in flow measurement applications — with digital input status viewable from any TAC Xenta OP operator panel on the same network.

  • 10 digital inputs: Internally powered digital input circuits suited to alarm contact sensing, status monitoring, and pulse counting.
  • Pulse counter capability: Each input can function as a pulse counter using the TAC Menta CNT block, useful for flow measurement and similar metering applications.
  • Removable terminal design: The electronics part can be removed for service without disturbing the field wiring terminal connections.
  • TP/FT-10 network connectivity: Connects to TAC Xenta controllers over the standard Free Topology TP/FT-10 network at 78 kbps.
  • Wide voltage tolerance: Accepts 24V AC (±20%) or 19-40V DC, giving flexibility across different control power sources.
