Overview

This is a Wenglor LW86PCV3, a long-range retro-reflex photoelectric sensor rated for a sensing range of up to 6,000 mm when used with the RQ100BA reference reflector/reflector foil. Using a polarized red light source with two-lens optic, it reliably detects objects — including glossy or reflective surfaces — by interrupting the light beam between the sensor and the reflector. It operates on a 10-30V DC supply with a PNP switching output, offering fast 500 µs response and a 1 kHz switching frequency for industrial automation applications.
