Compact 10Mbps Ethernet micro-hub for small workgroup networks

Overview

This is a D-Link DE-805TP, a five-port 10Base-T Ethernet hub built for very small workgroups running unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cabling. IEEE 802.3 compliant, it provides five RJ-45 ports for connecting stations directly or cascading to another hub to expand the network's port count, in a compact, space-saving form factor suited to sites with limited installation space.

  • Uplink port for easy expansion: Port 5 switches between "Normal" and "Uplink" position for straightforward hub-to-hub cascading over UTP.

  • Category 3/4/5 UTP/STP support: Compatible with standard twisted-pair cabling up to 100 meters per segment.
