Intelligent electronic drain valve for compressed air systems

Overview

This is an Atlas Copco EWD 50, a Zero Loss electronic condensate drain valve, Part No. 8102043174, built to remove condensate from compressed air systems without wasting compressed air. Using liquid level sensors, it monitors condensate build-up and only opens to drain when needed, rather than venting on a fixed timer — protecting downstream equipment from water damage while avoiding the energy losses associated with conventional timer-based or solenoid drains.
