Overview

This is an Omron E3Z-D81, a compact, square-type photoelectric sensor with a built-in amplifier, using diffuse-reflective sensing with an infrared LED (870 nm) light source. It detects white paper (100 x 100 mm) at up to 100 mm, operates on a 12-24V DC supply, and provides a PNP open-collector output with selectable Light-ON/Dark-ON operation. Rated IP67 and built with output/reverse-polarity protection circuits, it's designed for reliable presence and object detection in industrial automation environments.
