Overview

The Omron SRM1-C02-V2 is a subminiature, stand-alone master control unit combining CompoBus/S master and SYSMAC controller functions in a single package. It offers 4096 words of program memory and 2534 words of data memory, and can connect up to 256 I/O points across up to 32 slaves via the CompoBus/S network, with an integrated RS-232C port for direct connection to a PC, OMRON PT, or other compatible controllers. Communications cycle time is 0.5ms max. at a 750kbps baud rate, with communications distance extendable to 500m at a lower 93.75kbps baud rate. This unit operates on a 24VDC nominal supply and is well suited as a compact, self-contained remote I/O and control solution.
