Overview

This is a Siemens SIMATIC PS 307, 6ES7307-1BA01-0AA0, a regulated 2A power supply module for SIMATIC S7-300 automation installations. With automatic input voltage range selection across 120/230V AC, it converts single-phase mains supply into a stable, isolated 24V DC output, providing reliable power to the S7-300 CPU as well as connected I/O modules and other system components via the supplied connecting comb.

  • Automatic input voltage switchover: Automatically adapts to 120V or 230V AC nominal supply, without manual voltage selection.
  • Isolated, regulated output: Controlled, isolated 24V DC output, short-circuit-proof and open-circuit-proof, compliant with SELV per EN 60950.
  • Mains buffering: 20ms minimum hold time at rated output current in the event of a power failure, helping ride through brief supply interruptions.
  • Built-in overcurrent and overvoltage protection: Integrated T1.6A/250V fuse (not accessible) plus automatic-restart overvoltage protection (<28.8V).
  • Inrush current limiting: Limits inrush to a maximum of 22A at 25°C, protecting upstream circuit breakers and wiring.
  • Status LED indication: Green LED confirms 24V DC output is present, simplifying diagnostics.
