Overview

The Datalogic QLM600 Profibus Gateway is an advanced active connection module designed for efficient communication between Profibus DPV1 and ID-NET™ networks. It can be used in standalone or ID-NET™ Master Multidata, or Master Synchronized configurations, providing a reliable and fast connection with standard cables. This module features separate M12 connectors for various functionalities, including power supply, Profibus communication, ID-NET™ network, external trigger, digital I/O, and auxiliary RS232 communication for device configuration.

Host communication is facilitated through the integrated Profibus DPV1 circuitry, which connects internally to the reader's main serial interface (RS232). Additionally, ID-NET™ network and power supply signals are routed to the next connected device (ID-NET™ Slave) via a dedicated M12 connector.
