Overview

The TAC Xenta 401 is a freely programmable controller from a family of communication-capable devices designed for heating and air handling systems. It holds full HVAC functionality including control loops, curves, time control, and alarm handling. The controller itself has no physical inputs or outputs — instead, it connects to required I/O modules from the TAC Xenta 400 series, supporting up to 10-15 modules depending on version. Programmed using the graphical TAC Menta tool, multiple Xenta 401 units can form a network to exchange data, and the controller can connect to a central TAC Vista Building Management System directly or via modem, with optional TAC Xenta OP operator panel support for local interaction.
