Overview

The Pilz PNOZ X1 (774300) is a high-reliability, single-channel safety relay designed for monitoring emergency stop buttons, safety gates, and limit switches in industrial automation applications. It supports both automatic start, where the unit becomes active once the input circuit is closed, and manual start, where the unit activates only once both the input and start circuits are closed, and the number of available contacts can be increased by connecting contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. Rated to SIL3, PL e, and Category 4 per relevant safety standards, this relay provides voltage-free electromechanical contact switching with automatic self-monitoring of its safety functions at the end of each on/off cycle.
