Overview

The Siemens QBE63-DP02 measures differential pressure via an EPDM diaphragm that deflects a spring; as the diaphragm moves under pressure, a permanent magnet attached to it changes position relative to a Hall-effect transducer on the outside of the housing, which delivers an electrical signal proportional to the magnetic field. This signal is linearized, temperature-compensated, and amplified by the sensor's built-in electronics, and can be used with any device or system capable of processing the DC 0-10V output. Suitable for slightly aggressive liquids and gases, the sensor is highly resistant to overpressure and features G1/8" threaded connections, though it is not suitable for use with ammonia or freons.
